Your photographer is going to be there for some pretty big moments — the emotional ones, the hilarious ones, the quiet ones and all the little in-between moments you might not even realise are happening. So yes, loving your photos is important. But I think it’s just as important that you actually like and feel comfortable with the person taking them.

I’ve been on the other side of the camera too, and my own wedding went from plans A through to F on the day. So I know that sometimes things don’t go to plan — and honestly, they don’t have to.
