My absolute favourite time of day to shoot is 1 hour before sunset, with timings dependent on what season we're in. Sunrise is also an option for early birds!

When thinking about your backgrounds, don't discount potentially 'bland' backgrounds (eg. dry paddocks, tin sheds etc.). Most of the time simple is best, especially when you want your subject (you) to stand out in the photograph.

To ensure your baby is comfortable throughout, I suggest feeding and burping your baby before the session so they're sleepy.

Absolutely!! Provided the chosen location is pet-friendly, and they will be ok during the duration of your photoshoot.
